About Attempts on her Life

Highly controversial play written by a highly controversial playwright, Attempts on her Life presents different scenes through which current worldwide socio-political issues come to life.

This specific scene called Porno', which I designed and then devised with a group of actors, is a satirical critique of the pornographic industry, its propagandist tendencies and the commodification of the female body in a capitalist society. 

​

The highly sarcastic contrasts with the highly sensitive: the scene constantly presents moments of political irony yet gifts the audience with important moments of compassion.
